Cancelation Policy:
Any registrations received after the registration deadline, “walk-ins” or “no shows” that are not canceled 48 hours prior to the event (by Tuesday, May 15 at 5:00PM) will be invoiced the equivalent to the expense taken upon the HBASE for that reservation ($30/person).
2018 May Membership Meeting
Description
All HBASE members and guests are invited to attend this year’s May Membership Meeting and Government Night. This is one of HBASE’s most well attended membership meetings of the year as it gives our members the chance to visit face to face with city officials on housing related topics that affect our industry on a day to day basis.
As speaker for the event, Dr. Robert Dietz, Chief Economist for NAHB, will provide an overview of economic and housing market conditions with an eye on residential construction impacts. He will review national and local macroeconomic factors affecting housing demand, industry-level detail on supply-side headwinds that are limiting construction sector growth, and detail NAHB’s economic forecast. He'll also report the local economic benefits of home construction in our market, including the jobs created by home building. A question and answer session will follow.
We'll also be presenting our 2018 Spring Parade of Homes Awards, recognizing our scholarship recipients and giving out membership awards.
