    Safety Series: OSHA Recordkeeping and...

    Description

    OSHA Recordkeeping and Reporting
All employers must report the death of any employee from a work-related incident within 8 hours of learning about it or report within 24 hours any work-related impatient hospitalization, amputation or loss of an eye to the closest OSHA office.  If your company had more than 10 employees at any time during the last calendar year, you must keep the OSHA injury and illness records using OSHA Forms 300, 300-A and 301 or the equivalent form.  If your company had 10 or fewer employees at all time during the last calendar year, you do not need to keep OSHA injury and illness records unless OSHA or the Bureau of Labor of Labor Statistics informs you in writing that you must keep these records.
As part of this HBASE Safety Series class, participants will review the following areas:

    • Injury & Illness Recordkeeping Forms 300A, 300, 301
    • When am I required to post injury and illness summaries?
    • What is recordable under OSHA's recordkeeping regulation?
    • What am I required to report?
